See Sam Swim (quite literally)

Sam is currently swimming in the New England Masters Championship Meet at Harvard. This meet is the pinnacle of all of his training and mental energy. To say he was psyched up for this meet is like saying that water is wet. The meet runs all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. And I have been watching him from here at school.

Unless you are his parents, his children, his sister or a dear friend, you may not care this much, but I am finding it very cool and fun to watch the live action. I just watched him swim the 50 Backstroke with a bunch of my students gathered around my computer. (It is Friday, after all)

Here's how to access the live webcam (sorry there is no direct link).
Lisa, this is mostly for you!

1. Go to: http://www.mainemasters.org/
2. Click on Schedule on the left.
3. Click on the New England Championships at Harvard (March 27-29), the 3rd meet listed.
4. Click on the link for the webcam.
5. Click LOAD webcam and LOAD scoreboard so you know when he is swimming and in what lane.

6. YELL: GO SAM! GO DADDY!

I can't believe I missed this! I haven't checked your blog since last week. So sorry! I knew Sam would be swimming at Harvard since my dad informed me and I was thinking of you all. But, had no idea of the thoughtful link you posted. Am bummed for sure! Would have definitely been watching. But, "DAMN" is right. That fly time seriously kicks bum! Wow! Your turn for bootie kickin next with a triathlon, right?
