I have been very good about restraining myself from posting links and dragging you in to several (tragically, ridiculously, painfully sad) blogs I've been following lately. Instead, I'm going to give you this.
My friend Suzanne just sent me this link and it actually made me cry, but for a totally different reason: (I didn't used to be like this, crying over something purely joyful).
You're going to love this.
do you trust me?

That was great. It reminded me of this wonderful Fatboy Slim video - "Praise You."
What fun! Wish I had been there!
Oh that was awesome! I can't help but wonder if they all missed their trains! lol
Doesn't the world need lots more of that?? What joy!! Thanks Julie, I mean Maria, I mean Antwerpens.
THIS WAS AWESOME!!!
Did you know that in my mind I live in a musical??
I can't believe I just outed myself on that. (Tiercy are you reading?)
LOL Michelle!
Emilie, thanks for posting. That was so much fun to watch. i love it. do you think that is their national dance?
No, if it was their national dance it would be to "Aidelweiss"
...small and white, clean and bright, you look happy to greet me!
Blossom of snow may you bloom and grow...
Oh,oh! There goes the musical in my head again!
A nice follow up to this story--I just talked with Liesel. She was in court today to represent a client. The first thing the judge asked her, as he looked at her name, was if her parents were" Sound of Music" fans. She tried to explain, "No, my Dad was actually German" but before she left the courtroom the judge and two clerks started singing "I am sixteen, going on seventeen." Just another day in the life of a lawyer, but Michelle, I am tickled pink to know you "live in a musical". What better place to live could there be then "blossom of snow may you bloom and grow?"
what is wrong with me? seriously, sobbing. thanks, em... :)
