Cute and quirky

Somehow Skyler got really into making center pieces. A few times a week, she gathers up rocks or flowers or leaves or pine cones and arranges them for the table. This weekend she took a box from a new candle and filled it with dirt, flowers and rocks. She's so crafty, and delights in small touches and pretty things.

And Reed?  Well he doesn't really make anything right now, just destroys things, and likes to pull up his pants really high.

Go Skyler! That's way cooler than the reused candle box on MY desk, which just collects an overflow of scribbled-on post-it notes.. I'm inspired. Stay tuned for a copy cat.

my dad does the same things as reed! except that most of his destruction involves playing with trucks and fire.

There may be much joy in floral design in Skyler's future! Reed seems to be a centerpiece all his own!

I think Skyler got her flair for making centerpieces and flower arranging from her Grandmother Lila--beautiful photo of her holding her creation with such pride.
