For locals and poetry lovers

My student Will, the Maine State winner for Poetry Out Loud, was interviewed by our local NPR station (Suzanne Nance of MPBN).  Will answered questions about his poems and recited all 3 of the ones he'll be performing in Washington, and it will air at 11 am on Monday April 13th.  The station is 90.9, which if you are like me, and you could set your clock based on who is talking on NPR, you already know.  Hope you get to hear it!

P.S.  Many people have asked, so I wanted to let you know that I am not going to Washington D.C. at the end of this month with Will, nor did I ever think that I would be given that gift 2 years in a row.   He will be going with his family and a representative from the Maine Arts Commision.  He'll be texting me often with updates as the competition unfolds, so I'll keep you posted.

um, don't you have to actually be able to receive text messages in order for him to text you?

(hint, hint. I want to be able to text you.)
