ask and you shall receive.
Well what do you know? We woke up to a snow day. After I wrote yesterday on the blog that I was really wishing for snow, I checked the weather and suddenly there was a storm warning. Snow day conditions were perfect, because it started snowing in the middle of the night and snowed all day. That almost always means no school.
I had to wait 45 minutes before school was called this morning because I get up so early, but it sure felt good to crawl back in bed and sleep for two more hours. And the kids were so excited when they woke up on their own and peeked out the window.
We started off the day with Whole Wheat Pumpkin Pancakes (dirty food!) and they were delicious. I felt a little weird eating them, but they actually are a healthy recipe, so it was a good way to start the day. I substituted the buttermilk for almond milk and added 2 tablespoons of chia seeds.
And then we hit the snow! It took 45 minutes to get everyone into snow gear, but it was worth it.
do I have something on my nose?
It's getting Christmasy around here! Hope everyone had a great day.

Lucky dog! Looks like a fun day. Your front door looks beautiful. Where did you get that wreath hanger? I have been trying to find one.

Brooke... I got the wreath hook at joanne fabrics? any place that sells christmas decorations should have them. it was like 5 bucks. :)
Even more important than the wreath hook, where'd you get the wreath itself? It's stunning!
