Love ME giveaway.

So many of you showed interest in this t-shirt after the Maine Maven give away, so I contacted Chris, the owner and creator of BeerME, Maine-Inspired T-Shirts and Apparel and told him so.  He agreed to give a Love ME shirt to one lucky reader. Check out his website.  There are tons of really cute shirts, sweatshirts, mugs, and stickers.

If you live in Maine, then you love it here.  If you've been to Maine, you loved it here.  If you've always wanted to come to Maine, you would love it here, so this contest is open to everyone.  There is a women's version of this shirt with a slight scoop neck and a men's version, both come in this soft gray color.

Don't forget, if you live around here, you can get this shirt and other products at Maine Maven in Orono.  But if you don't, you can order online.

In order to enter, you just have to:
1.  Like One Mom in Maine on Facebook
2.  Like the company BeerMe on Facebook
3.  And write a sonnet in perfect iambic pentameter about Maine.
(kidding!)   Just tell us one thing you love about Maine.

I'll choose one winner randomly on Friday evening, so comments close for the t-shirt at 6:00 pm on Friday, March 18th.

We are so blessed to live in Maine, where we dont have to suffer from the earthquakes, major wildfires or floods, or mudslides... I'll take snow any day! :) (May God give strength to those who have to deal with all of those!)

Trout fishing! (except black flies?)
Spring! (except 2 sump pumps in the basement running steady right now can't keep up?)
Gardening! (...weeds & gophers & deer?) Oh my...why?

I love Maine for the summer, the ocean, bike riding and beer!

I don't think I can pin down exactly what I love about Maine, but I've grown up here. All I know is I never want to leave. :)

I liked you both on facebook. I used to really enjoy swimming in the lakes in Augusta as a kid when my mom owned a camp there. I also used to like going to LL Bean in Freeport.

Liking is d-o-n-e, done. I actually tried to find one of the t-shirts before, so I'm glad you posted the site.

Anyway, I love the simplicity that is life in Maine. People are friendly, and life is good. Billboards are scarce, and there are so. many. trees.

I've liked both pages of FB.

I love the lupines blooming in the spring!

I don't know much about Maine except for all the things I see in Movies. But I absolutely love being in contact with other women runners so far away from little ol Texas. It's nice to know that anywhere I go, runners are there.

I love Maine. It's home and we have great skiing and the ocean all within a stone's throw. Best of everything! I already bought a few items from Chris but one more couldn't hurt!

Hi! We met the other day at the pool--I work with Sam. Lindsay Harmon pointed your blog out to me...I'll join in!

I love the sense of community all throughout the state. And the feeling I get crossing the Piscataqua bridge after having been "away" for a little while.

I love how Maine is so clean. A few years ago I traveled to Texas and was disgusted by the fact that their highways had so much garbage strewn about. I now definitely appreciate how we don't have that here.

Liked and liked! I love that Maine has four separate and distinct seasons. I love the lakes and being just hours away from the ocean. I love the beautiful green trees and breathing in fresh, clean air. I love that my girls get to grow up in a small town with a wonderful sense of community.

I liked you awhile ago on facebook...liked BeerME....What I love about ME. I don't know if I could really narrow it down to one thing...I grew up there and so it's home...but I guess if I have one thing that keeps coming to the forefront of my mind...it's that while my grandmother passed away a few years ago...it's the one place that I can feel close to her...Oh my now I'm crying...and want to go home....

I like you both on Facebook. My favorite thing about Maine is that we actually have four seasons and there is a variety of things to do in each one for the family. We are blessed!

Found your blog from The Run Down blogroll!

I also "liked" everything on FB!

Although I grew up in New Hampshire, I love being in Maine :) My boyfriend is from Augusta and his family has a house at Sugarloaf, so we spend a lot of time there! Actually, the picture in my blog header was taken on top of Bald Mountain!

My favorite thing about Maine is Moosehead Lake. My husband and I were married there, and my family has a camp. So many wonderful memories!

I liked both pages on FB also.

Thank you! :)

Yaaay!

Since I grew up there, Maine is a huge part of my soul. I feel like I'm not complete when I'm not there, and it's always on my mind. It's like a longing for a lost love.

Also? I realize I'm biased because of what I said above, but it's seriously the most beautiful place in the world.

What I miss about living in Maine: the smell of the ocean and the sound of the fog horns at night. I miss the magical rocky coast. I miss being able to hop in the car, drive about an hour, and arrive someplace amazing. I miss fresh seafood. And I miss seeing you!

I love the fact that everything is here in Maine. You can spend a day in the city like Portland exploring the Old Port or go hiking out in the woods in Baxter or Acadia. And I always miss Maine when I travel outside of state and look forward to coming home. :)

We love the Winters!!

"Like" both pages. Maine is great for so many reasons but spring/summer are my favorite after a long winter. Garden plants will soon start to poke their heads out of the dirt and give hope for a colorful summer.
