Senior Research Papers

This is where I've been all week.

My seniors worked for two months on these babies, and I am proud that I got a well-written and interesting research paper from every single freaking one of my 55 seniors.  And they are all graded.  Let the Senioritis (officially) begin.

More stories of cooking, running, and compression calf sleeves coming very soon!

Non-teachers might not know how impressive it is to get any assignment, much less one of that size, from every student, but I am impressed.

Clarice... thank you! I used some serious guilt and parent-calling tactics to get those last 2, but I did get them!!!

I would die if I got ALL of a major assignment in from my middle schoolers. What a dream. Now the process and time needed to grade all them, not so much a dream lol!
I've got a bag full of assignments to grade over the next week since my 3rd quarter just ended. Let the coffee run free and the paper cuts be few!

My stomach turned looking at that pile because it brings back memories of 55 two-inch binders that each require an individualized 1-page response from me ... I hate marathon grading sessions, but I do them frequently.

Looking at that stack give me heart palpitations. But congrats on getting EVERY student to complete their paper! I had a few students who wouldn't even hand in work we did in class.
