a shoe review: Keen? Yes.

When I got an email from the folks at Keen shoes in August asking me if I wanted to review Back-to-School shoes for my kids, I think I hit reply when my gmail still said:  "Received 0 minutes ago."

Yes.  Keens.  Please.

I love all Keen shoes, and their kids' shoes are awesome.

I have a bit of a Keen problem myself, see?

This doesn't even count the 2 pairs that Jackson chewed up.

Our cool Keens arrived, and the kids have happily worn them often.  They will get even more wear out of them as the weather cools.

They are just what you want in a kid's shoe:  rugged and good lookin'.

Skyler got the Darby Boot.   They are purple leather.

( I would please like a pair in my size.)

Reed got the Alamosa Shoe.  Brown leather and rugged.

The toggle pulls with the elastic laces work great for Reed so that he can put the shoes on himself.  He does tend to stretch them a little too far so I hope they don't wear out, but so far so good.

They look handsome while still being tough enough to handle Reed and his crazy playground energy.

Both shoes make the kids happy and mom happy too.

I don't think you can really go wrong with any Keen shoes for kids.  They are comfortable and very well made.

Thank you, Keen!  You have three very satisfied customers here.

As always when I do product reviews:  The products were provided to me at no cost but the opinions are my own.

Oh, yes! Love these. I've been looking for some sturdy and stylish shoes for my two little ones. Perfect.

I also have a Keen problem. :)

I'll take the purple boots in my size, too!
